MERILISA® Malaria PAN Ag ELISA Kit — Pan-Malaria Antigen Detection (96T)

MERILISA® Malaria PAN Ag ELISA is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the qualitative detection of Plasmodium pan-antigen (pLDH — Plasmodium Lactate Dehydrogenase) in human whole blood. Detects all malaria-causing Plasmodium species — P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. malariae, P. ovale — with a single test. Designed for confirmation of malaria cases, epidemiological surveillance, and blood bank screening.

Clinical Significance

pLDH is a metabolic enzyme present in all Plasmodium species and absent from human tissue — making it an ideal pan-malaria detection target. Unlike HRP-II (present only in P. falciparum), pan-pLDH covers all species with equal sensitivity.
