MERILISA® HIV 3rd Generation ELISA Kit — HIV-1 & HIV-2 Antibody Detection (96T)

MERILISA® HIV 3rd Generation ELISA is an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies against HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human serum or plasma. Uses recombinant antigens from HIV-1 (gp41, gp120, p24) and HIV-2 (gp36) — covering all major HIV subtypes and groups.

How It Works

Wells are coated with recombinant HIV-1 (gp41, gp120) and HIV-2 (gp36) antigens. Patient anti-HIV antibodies bind the antigens. An HRP-conjugated anti-human IgG conjugate detects bound antibody, and TMB substrate produces a color reaction read at 450 nm.
