MERILISA® HIV 4th Generation ELISA — Dual Antigen–Antibody Detection

MERILISA® HIV GEN 4 is a 4th generation enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the simultaneous detection of HIV p24 antigen and IgG, IgM, and IgA antibodies against HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human serum and plasma. Evaluated and approved by the National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

How It Works

Microplate wells are coated with recombinant HIV antigens — gp41 and gp120 (HIV-1) and gp36 (HIV-2) — along with monoclonal antibodies specific to the p24 antigen. Streptavidin–biotin technology enhances antigen–antibody binding efficiency, delivering strong signal amplification and reliable detection across both early-stage (p24 antigen window) and established (antibody) infection phases.
