MERILISA® HBsAg ELISA Kit — Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Detection (96T)

MERILISA® HBsAg ELISA is a solid-phase, sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the qualitative detection of Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) in human serum or plasma. HBsAg is the earliest serological marker of HBV infection and the primary screening target for Hepatitis B in blood banks, hospitals, and diagnostic laboratories.

How It Works

Microplate wells are coated with purified anti-HBsAg monoclonal antibodies. Patient samples are incubated in the wells; if HBsAg is present, it binds to the capture antibody. A HRP-conjugated anti-HBsAg antibody is then added, followed by substrate (TMB). A blue color develops proportional to antigen concentration, read at 450 nm.
