MERISERA® Anti-H Lectin — Ulex Europaeus Extract for H Antigen & Bombay Phenotype Detection
MERISERA® Anti-H Lectin is a Ulex europaeus lectin extract used for the determination of H antigen on red blood cells. The H antigen is the precursor substance for A and B antigens. This reagent is essential for ABO subgrouping and critically for identifying the rare Bombay phenotype (Oh) — where H antigen is absent and individuals cannot receive any ABO blood group except Oh.
