Meril Viral Transport Medium (VTM) Kit — For Viral Sample Collection & Preservation

Meril Viral Transport Medium is used for collection, transportation and preservation of human nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal virus samples from the collection site to the testing laboratory.

Procedure

1. Open the VTM tube
2. Immerse the swab head into the medium
3. Break the swab at the break point and discard the tail end
4. Recap the tube tightly and label for identification
5. Transport at 2°–8°C
