MERISCREEN® Syphiline — One-Step Rapid Test for Syphilis Detection

MERISCREEN Syphiline is a one-step qualitative immunochromatographic assay for the detection of antibodies (IgM, IgG & IgA) against Treponema pallidum, the causative agent of syphilis, in human serum, plasma, or whole blood.

Procedure

1. Add 10 µL serum/plasma or 20 µL whole blood to the sample well
2. Dispense 3 drops of assay buffer
3. Read results at 20 minutes

Result Interpretation

• Reactive: Two lines (C + T bands visible)
• Non-Reactive: One line (C band only)
• Invalid: No C band (test must be repeated)
