PPH stands for Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids. The brochure explains that the procedure is performed above the dentate line inside the anal canal, involving fewer nerve endings than traditional procedures. The MIRUS Hemorrhoids Stapler places "two staggered rows of titanium staples in 32mm & 34mm diameter size" in the anal canal for transection and resection of the inward tissue (brochure p9).
